About the Event
In this class, we will be covering everything there is to know about how gel works, why it works, and what we can do to make it work best for your clients. We will be focusing on structural manicures and specialty overlays. This is an 8 hour course, in which the following topics will be covered:
- Nail Anatomy
- Basic Nail Prep
- What is Structured Gel?
- Product Selection
- Application Techniques
- Rebalancing
- Removals
- Product Transitioning
As discussed, we will be using the products that you employ at Nail Ninja, so there will be no need for kits, as we'll pull from your back bar.
Students will be expected to have the following with them for class:
-At least one hand free from product and prepped for practice
-Curing unit
-Cuticle Pusher
-Cuticle Nippers
-90% or higher Isopropyl Alcohol
-100% pure Acetone
-Assorted Brushes
-Lint-Free Wipes
-Palette
-Palette knife/stir stick
-E-file and assorted bits
